At St Mary’s we recognise the importance of scientific enquiry and hands on experience. In Key Stage 2 all children are given the opportunity to develop their scientific enquiry skills by becoming a real scientist. Every week a child takes it in turns to choose an experiment or scientific concept to research and demonstrate to the class. Examples include erupting volcanoes, bouncy eggs, crystals, rainbow water and fake snow.
